VILLA BIANCA : Beachfront dining Italian style

You enter Villa Bianca from the main street in Fisherman’s Village. The restaurant is all white with an open feel and has stunning views of Koh Phangan (Full Moon Party island) in the distance.

Pizzas and salads are highly recommended and the Italian sparkling bottled water is a must. If you want it quiet at lunchtime and with a view then this is the place for you. Ask for a table by the beach to max out on the view.

There are lots of your favourite Italian dishes on the menu and they use only fresh ingredients in the restaurant and buy organic food where possible. The organic vegetables and salads comes from Chiang Mei in the north of Thailand and are delivered fresh every week.

In the evening sit at the white bar at the front of the restaurant, drink wine and chat to the owners, Malcolm and Guido. Malcolm greets diners and Guido shows them to their table and can give advise on the menu.

The bar is a great spot to meet friends as anyone eating or drinking in Fisherman’s Village will walk past at some time or other.

This is a busy restaurant in the evening, so book if you don’t want to miss out on the great seafood – the Lobster Tagliatelle is a favourite and the lobster is tank fresh!

Bring your credit cards if you have a taste for wine. Despite the price, due to very high duty on wines, they have a great selection of Champagnes and sparkling wines, one of the best on the island.

Based on two courses per person expect to pay around 1,500 Baht for two.

Note: Seafood will be at market price per 100grams.
